Is it possible that she suffers from anorexia or bulimia? When people have poor nutrition, they lose hair in clumps.

This could also be the case if she's decided to be vegetarian but her meals aren't properly balanced.

Stress can cause hair loss, also not eating healthy, getting enough sleep also can do it... Everyone has a time where they loose some of there hair, just make sure it's not too much... she might be needing a vitiman, try getting her a multi-vitiman and drink lots of water. Hope that helps.

I'm 17 years old and I lose A LOT of hair in the shower... I'm not balding at all and my hair is very healthy, so I don't think there is anything you need to worry about.. We lose a lot of hairs per day and don't realize it really until it comes off in your hands as you scrub your hair in the shower..

um it can be from stress or really damaged hair like to many hair products perms and stuff like that
