I have two love birds and lately they both been losing alot of hair and i wanna know why?

Why do they have hair? They're probably just molting. Or in your case, shedding.

I have two love birds and lately they both been losing alot of hair and i wanna know why?

they dont have hair number one , and number 2 they r board, spray them with water kinda a mist...

I have two love birds and lately they both been losing alot of hair and i wanna know why?

They're probably moulting. Birds replace their feathers every year or so as the old ones become tattered. The feather loss should be fairly uniform and evenly distributed over the body; if they're missing feathers in just one area they may be pulling their feathers out for some reason. In this case you should take them to your avian vet to see why and how to help stop it.

Moulting is perfectly normal and natural. And messy. Feathers end up everywhere!

I have two love birds and lately they both been losing alot of hair and i wanna know why?

maybe he sick or getting old.

I have two love birds and lately they both been losing alot of hair and i wanna know why?

birds don't have hair.they have feathers. it isn't rocket science.

I have two love birds and lately they both been losing alot of hair and i wanna know why?

If your bird has 'hair' it should be thoroughly studied in a laboratory. :)

I have two love birds and lately they both been losing alot of hair and i wanna know why?

1. If they are losing feathers but growing in new ones at about the same rate, then it's likely a regular molt, though it can be caused by dry skin, in which case, give them a daily shower with a water bottle. Some even like to take a luke-warm shower as long as you're careful

2. If they are losing a LOT of feathers and developing bald patches, it can be one of two things. Sometimes parasites on the skin will cause irritation and feather loss. Look the birds over for ticks or other external parasites. It can also be caused by a nervous behavior known as feather plucking. Watch them closely, are they pulling out their own feathers? If so, they would need to be temporarily separated and given cone collars in order to break the habit, then observed carefully.

I have two love birds and lately they both been losing alot of hair and i wanna know why?

If it isn't feather plucking or a disease like the others have mentioned, your lovebirds must be moulting.

Birds go through a period of moulting (shedding alot of feathers) once in its first year and about once in two years afterwards. Moulting takes about 2 to 6 weeks, and you must take a little extra care for them, as they will be slightly less immune to illnesses.

I think a good example in understanding what moulting is to birds is when us women have our periods. We tend to feel awfully tired and have additional burdens like headaches and problems with our digestive system, right? It is very much like that for the birds.

Keep them warm, let them have alot of rest, let them listen to relaxing music, talk to them and make sure the food and water are always fresh and clean.

Hair loss and thinning hair?

I am 24 years old hair thinning at the top ( 3inches by 3.5 inches). The hair on top of my head is very thin now, and u can almost see through to my scalp.

i have no idea i was balding until last week i went to have my hair cut he told me i was balding.

how can i reverse this any products to regrow hair

i heard some products i have to use life time to have my hair

how effective is hair implants and cost is there any side effects

it cant be hereditary because my elder brother 27 yrs he has full hair.

finally why men lose hair in the front both sides like a v shape

example http://www.imdb.com/gallery/ss/0112864/S...

can a person grow hair again in this area by implants

Hair loss and thinning hair?

dont fight it

Hair loss and thinning hair?

Just because your brother doesn't have thinning hair doesn't mean you won't. You have to look to your mothers side and only your mothers side of the family. If anyone on her side of the family has thinning hair, chances are you will too.

I'm not sure about products or implants or things like that but you can definitely try it out. Maybe you should talk to a doctor or a dermatologist and he/she can recomment something for you. Make sure you research completely before you settle on a decision.

Hair loss and thinning hair?

actually i have the same situation as u, and its going to drop off everything. I have no money to go for hair implanting centre. But its still lucky for me enough for me though. I got a shampoo made from chinese medicine and it really works well. 2nd time using it stops the hair from dropping.. If u r interested of the product maybe u can email me.... good luck

Hair loss and thinning hair?

I have a friend who has the same problem. I think you need to see a doctor.

Hair loss and thinning hair?

Just because your brother has hair doesn't mean you will. It is heredity. You can't reverse it...just deal with it. The best way to disguise hair loss is to keep it short. Buzzed in the back where it is full and leave the top longer. You can take Gelatin tablets to keep what you have healthy. Keep your fingers crossed that you have a nice shaped head so that when it's time to shave it all off you will still look good.

Hair loss and thinning hair?

I'm a woman and my hair is thin on top too. I have tried different shampoos and conditioners but they haven't done a durn bit of good and they are very expensive. About the only thing I found that worked was Rogaine and yes, if you decide to go that route (and if it works for you), it is a 2 x's a day process for the rest of your life. Once you stop using it, you will lose any hair re-growth.

As far as hair plugs, unless they have made major improvements recently, I think they really look bad! Like a favorite character of mine said "looks like they're doing crop rotation on their head!". Good luck with your research. I know how hard it is not to have a full head of hair, anymore!

Hair loss and thinning hair?

It is possible that you have alopecia. I don't think that you're old enough to be balding due to age already. Try to stay calm but see your doctor!

OR hair shedding could be caused by the discontinuation of hormonal estrogen and progesterone therapies for birth control or may be associated with the end of pregnancy.

Hair loss and thinning hair?

Heredity spans through generations you know? Those men with v-shaped front inherit them. I've seen some women too; I've also seen younger poeple living with this condition but the best thing to do is accept to leave with, love and manage what we cant change; like wearing a face cap or shaving your hair you can even create your style afterall, there is a school of thought that says that bald headed men are very romantic.

But try roots stimulating shampoo by Organics, then apply soft'n'free hair grow every day you'll see results before one bottle runs out. visit www.mmproducts.com. its very effective but cheap. Goodluck!

Hair loss and thinning hair?

About 50 to 100 milligrams a day of vitamin B6 taken for one or two months helps decrease hair fall. A medicine rich in sulfur is also recommended as sulfur plays an important part in the structure of the hair. Check out

My rottweilr mix is losing all his black hair?

Thryoid problem. I have seen it in both Labs and Dobies, so a Rottie probably is not much different.

My rottweilr mix is losing all his black hair?

it could be his diet and lack of nutrition or he just might be doing his normal twice a year shedding process if it does not stop in a couple weeks contact your vet to make sure he has no parasites

My rottweilr mix is losing all his black hair?

rotties can shed alot like shepards and labs, tiss the season, they tend to lose a lot of hair, if he starts having bald spots and itching alot i would have him checked out, they usually will do a skin scraping to check for mange or demodex mites.

I have hypothyroidism and when my thyroid levels are below normal range I have a variety of symptons...losing hair..alot of hair is one of them. Hair loss during pregnancy???

Hi There,

It's pretty normal for a woman to lose hair during and after pregnancy. I am not a doctor but I do know a lot about hair loss. Put simply, I believe the cause of your hair loss is stress. Physical and emotional stress are normal during pregnancy. A woman's hair follicles are extremely susceptible to both physical and emotional stress.

I believe what you're experiencing is called Telogen Effluvium, which is a stress related hair loss. The hair loss usually sets in 4-6 months after the stressful experience. Fortunately, this is not permanent hair loss and victims can expect to their hair to grow back 6-9 months later.

Ever since receiving a hair restoration procedure back in July, 06, I have a documented my results at my blog, BattleAgainstBald.com. In addition to pictures and video of my procedures success I provide a wealth of information on hair loss, its many causes and the treatments available to correct hair loss.

Check out the blog, as I believe you'll find the "female hair loss" section helpful.

Best of luck and keep the stress level low.

Why do we have to lose scalp hair everyday? If we didn't lose it then I'm sure our hair wo

I just wish I didn't lose my 70-80 hairs a day because I am so worried that hair won't grow back.

Why do we have to lose scalp hair everyday? If we didn't lose it then I'm sure our hair would be thicker.

I have extremely long hair and i loose a lot but its okay. You are suppose to loose hair in order from your body to create more from your dead red blood cells. Thicker hair doesn't come from loosing it but rather your parents genetic makeup. The point I would start worrying about massive hair lose is when you loose giant patches and can see your scalp clearly. At that point I'd consult a doctor but don't worry about it until then. Brushing your hair too much can cause a lot of hair to come out. Try brushing less if you see it more due to over brushing.

Why do we have to lose scalp hair everyday? If we didn't lose it then I'm sure our hair would be thicker.

I was told that is does this because it is dead hair and new hair is coming in..

How do i stop a6 year lab from losing so much hair?

Not only are labs big shedders, they shed all year long. I use a furminator on my lab. It works wonders. We take a time out every day to sit, relax, and enjoy a good brushing. I'm sure that adopting any sort of ritual grooming habit will help you. There are also shedding supplements out there. (I don't know that they do any good. I've never bothered with them.)

How do i stop a6 year lab from losing so much hair?

Unfortunately, you can't really stop it from loosing hair - Labs are big time shedders.

Keep the dog well brushed and keep an arsenol of lint rollers on hand!

How do i stop a6 year lab from losing so much hair?

You really can't. Make sure you're feeding a good quality food, give the dog either 1 tablespoon of veg. oil or a salmon oil capsule daily to make sure the coat and skin are in good condition. Other than that, brush daily to get the dead hair out.

How do i stop a6 year lab from losing so much hair?

Here's a few things you can try 1. Nutro Natural Choice dog food. Lamb and Rice formula. Nutro guarantees skin and coat - reduces shedding!! for A LOT of info and benefits check out nutroproducts.com.

2. Brush him/her once a day.

3. Don't bathe it so much. That tends to dry the skin out and causes flaking and hair loss from dry brittle hair.

But a healthy coat like us..comes from what is eaten. Start w/ Nutro.

How do i stop a6 year lab from losing so much hair?

I add a smidgeon of real butter or liquid vitamins, to my dog's food. Dogs need fat in their diet just like people do.

People don't realize that when they remove the fat from their diets they turn into walking dandruff balls with dull skin and hair that falls out. I can't see why animals would be any different.

How do i stop a6 year lab from losing so much hair?

I also have a heavy shedding dog and a few things seem to help, besides feed high quality food and brushing often.

- Give your dog some cod liver, salmon or flax seed oil supplement. I usually buy them in caplets, so the oil doesn't go bad and squeeze it out on their food. One of my dogs will actually eat the caplet with his food.

- Dog probiotics! Probiotics will replenish the good bacteria in your dog's stomach and will improve things like breath and coat.. I give my heavy shedders a probiotics formulated especially for excessive shedding! You can find these at your local pet supply store. I have noticed a big difference!

I hope this helps!

I have wavy hair. How can I make it straight with using a straightner or blowdrying it ?HELP!?

I have thick wavy hair. I want it straight. Isnt there a natural way to make your hair straight? I also want to lose hair(apart from thinning because i dont know how that works) i have started using soap and i lose a little hair that way but im afraid im ruining my hair HELP! isnt their a natural ways to make your hair straighter or to lose hair HELP PLZ!

I have wavy hair. How can I make it straight with using a straightner or blowdrying it ?HELP!?

Hmm... see I use both a blowdryer and a straightener on my wavy hair. If you ever change your mind, I highly recommend using a spiral brush when blowdrying and a skinny straightener for better results.

However, without those two, my best suggestion is to invest in hair straightening products. I use Sun Silk, and run it through my hair before blowdrying (highly recommend this stuff!), as it can also help with static-y-ness!

Also, try brushing you a hair flat after you towel dry it (it still being damp) and then use a spiral brush on it. With the spiral brush, pick up a clump of your hair and spin the bristles under the clump, while at the same time brushing it outwards. This may result in your tips curving inwards, but I happen to think that's rather pretty :)

This is what I normally do with a blowdryer, but it should still help!

Best of luck to you!

Anna

I have wavy hair. How can I make it straight with using a straightner or blowdrying it ?HELP!?

You should just try and buy some straightening products.

There's a product called "JAM!" I use and it's completely perfect.

I have wavy hair. How can I make it straight with using a straightner or blowdrying it ?HELP!?

hey put on the serum or gel and straighten your hair or go for straightining in the parlours

with blow dryer your hair will become rough and ull develop split ends so try avoiding it

if u wanna use it keep it 30 cms away from your hair.

I have wavy hair. How can I make it straight with using a straightner or blowdrying it ?HELP!?

sorry...i have asked myself the straight hair question for years!!

you could wrap your damp hair around really wide rollers and sleep.

or twist your hair and put it in a big bun.

but it will never be pencil straight.

the truth is you are going to damage your hair no matter what...whether by iron, or blower, or chemicals.

so you just need to minimize the damage.

if you blow or iron, then you must use a straigtening or heat cream to coat and protect your hair against the extreme heat.

if i want to straighten my hair, i make sure my hair is only damp by towel drying it.

then generally apply straigtening solution or protect heat product.

then blow dry with a brush that has soft bristles.

your hair must be absolutely dry or else it will poof right back up.

then apply an iron.

when finished, use a finishing cream to smooth it out and add shine

I have wavy hair. How can I make it straight with using a straightner or blowdrying it ?HELP!?

I guess you can use japeneese hair straighner. i dont know about it, but for know keep it wavy.
