She actually has bald spots, and her hair is daily all over the carpet. What could be wrong with the poor thing?

I would take her to see the vet she may have cancer or it may be because she is molting my auntie had the same problem with her cat and it turned out to be because of stress it may be nothing to worry about but I would still take her to see the vet. hope this helps

hmm..maybe its bcoz of what you feed her..don't feed her eggs..or whatever..try giving her cat food..and if you are already feeding her that..maybe her situation is like she's been exposed to too much heat..

My seven year old cat "Junior" had a similar problem. I would leave from work and when I returned there was cat fur everywhere! I watched him groom himself and he would literally pull out his fur. I took him to the vet and it turned out to be ulcers in his mouth and tongue due to an immune system problem. It is very important you take her to the vet to rule out anything serious.
