i doubt i am going bald, but nearly every time i brush my hand through my hair, i find one or two pieces of hair on my hand. is this normal?

I had the same problem, and unfortunately it never stopped. I am now 20 and have a big balding problem. I would wait a couple years, and if you notice that your hair loss has been increasing, speak to a specialist.
